Hi I'm Shane and I like to share what we did in the Summer Learning Journey and I pick the Pepeha because it was easy to use.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Shekinah!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your wonderful blog posts over the summer. It's so great to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)
Thank you for sharing your pepeha with us. I really like hearing people's pepeha - I think it's such a lovely way to learn about where someone is from and who their family is. Did you enjoy doing this activity? I love learning about my own heritage.
Again, well done on completing your first teaser week task! Remember that the programme officially begins next Monday (December 16th), so be sure to check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, keep going with the teaser week activities - I can't wait to read more! :)
Have the best day! :)
Mikey
